About Us

Our Mission

At Wise Mind Learning, we meet our clients (whom we call our students) where they’re coming from. We offer evidence-based strategies to help them understand how their mind works and how to achieve emotional regulation, self-advocacy, confidence, clarity, and calm in their lives.

Unlike within the traditional therapy model, our work together is always personalized, affirming, and collaborative. We offer an even playing field between us and the amazing people we’re privileged to support. Our approach is never one-size-fits-all, but rather is truly customized to the way you learn, the challenges you face, and the goals for the life you want to create.

Who We Help:

Students from elementary school through college

Parents who want to support their child without constant conflict

Adults seeking better emotional regulation, clarity, and self-understanding

Our Philosophies on Learning

  • All minds can learn! We just have to find the right way.

  • Learning takes trust and courage because it means acknowledging that something is not known, or is new.

  • Everyone learns at a different pace and in a different way and that is normal.

  • There is no “normal” brain, only normative behavior.

  • Disability happens in the lack of fit between what capacity and the demands one faces.

  • Our thinking, feeling mind-brain is a fantastic tool and the more we learn about it, the better we can use it to do the things that matter to us.
